Alyssa Sabo

Alyssa Sabo is a Los Angeles based writer/comedian hailing from Western Pennsylvania. She is a house team performer & writer on Maude Night and Characters Welcome at The Upright Citizens Brigade and has passed advanced lab at The Groundlings in addition to regularly performing stand-up and improv all over the country. Alyssa created the podcast “Totally Rad” where she plays a 16-year-old evangelical Jesus freak talk show host, which helps her cope with that lovely religious guilt and trauma from her youth.

When she’s not performing live, you can find her online reading her actual teen journals, going on live first Hinge dates, or most notably, tricking millions of strangers on TikTok to believe that she is Mike Pence’s estranged daughter named “Peggy Pence.” She will truly do anything to entertain, and her comedy style blurs the line between what is reality and what is fiction.

Alyssa has also written and performed a one woman show based on her real life experience of being in a coma and receiving a life-saving liver transplant at the young age of twenty-one. Her work not only makes people laugh but has helped raise awareness about organ donation and being immunocompromised.

Alyssa’s boundless positive energy has also gotten her the unique opportunity to be a contestant on several game shows including Netflix’s The Floor Is Lava, NBC’s Small Fortune, Celebrity Name Game, FOX’s Bullseye, The Price Is Right, Shark Tank, and The Steve Harvey Show. While she hasn’t won big on every single show, because of her game show experience, she now also works closely with producers and executives to help develop, pitch, and sell game shows.
