Lou Mensah (she/her) is a British-Ghanaian audio-maker, producer, and founder of Shade Podcast, who has carved out a space all her own in audio. Through image-focused interviews with curators, artists, writers, and activists, she's mined the intersection between race and art.

In 2021, Lou tackled the most salient images of the Black Lives Matter uprisings, which were recognized for their impact by the British Podcast Awards. She has partnered with Bloomberg Connects, Hauser & Wirth, Tate Modern, and Frieze. Her first audio documentary Joy of Bundle aired on the BBC.
